Q: Will my medical insurance cover the cost of your detox program?
A: As Florida’s leading inpatient detox program, Desert Rose Detox works with many private insurance companies. Regrettably, we are not able to accept state insurances such as Medicaid or Medicare at this time.
Q: How long is your detox program?
A: A typical detox program lasts 28 to 30 days. But at Desert Rose Detox we believe detox is complete when the patient has fully removed all substances of abuse from their body. In some cases this may take longer than the standard time. We are here for as long as our patients need.
Q: Am I allowed a cell phone during treatment?
A: In order to focus on healing, we do not allow personal technology items like cell phones within the treatment center.
Q: What is your admission process?
A: We’ve streamlined our admission process to get you the help you need when you need it. Everything begins with you picking up the phone and calling our facility. An admissions coordinator will help you to verify your insurance benefit and explain your specific coverage. Then we will perform an initial phone assessment to align your treatment needs. Next we will arrange for transportation if needed and get you to our detox center as soon as possible to start treatment.
Q: I’ve been to a detox program before, how do I know it will work this time?
A: Substance abuse is a difficult pattern to break. However, returning to a detox program doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It simply means you did not receive all the support you needed to quit the first time. At Desert Rose Detox we will work with you to make sure you receive the support you need to be successful in your recovery. Often this includes recommending a continuation of treatment following our detox program at an inpatient or outpatient program.
Q: Can’t I just detox on my own at home?
A: By no means should anyone attempt to detox alone at home. There are too many risk factors associated with the detox process that can be potentially fatal. Getting clean is complicated and if you’re serious about it, a medical detox program is the best place for your safety and comfort.
